If the anointed one is Obama. I know he isn't popular on here, but I do think he was a people's president. He could relate to the average person (I know it's pointless to say anything good about him because people still thinks he is a Muslim who wasn't born in the US and that he is the spawn of Satan, but I really think he had less of a self-interest than Bush 43 and Clinton.
The Clintons were in it for themselves and only themselves. The one thing you can say is that at one point they had little money (apparently). Somehow they made millions though.
Obama lived a very, very privileged life. The prep school he went to in Hawaii was perhaps the most exclusive on the islands. He couldn't relate to the average person anymore than Queen Elizabeth could. He had every bit as much self interest as Clinton.

You don't know about Clinton? Most corrupt politician in the history of our nation. Start with Whitewater (15 people associated with the clintons convicted of various felonies, Clinton's apparently involved but never convicted, Bill clinton pardoned most of them), running guns and arms through Benghazi Libya to arm the Syrian rebels (ISIS) to over-through Assad because he wouldn't allow the west's corporate favored pipeline to run through his country nor allow a central bank to be established, the secret email server used to cover up the Benghazi gun running operation, allowing US diplomats to be murdered at Benghazi because it was rumored he was going to spill the beans on the operation (which begs the question, why was Quaddafi killed? (His crime in their eyes, it was revealed in a tranche of classified Clinton emails, released by Wikileaks in January of this year, was his intention of establishing a gold-backed currency to compete with the euro and the dollar as an international reserve currency in Africa), the pay for access corruption at the State Department where foreign countries were allowed access and political favors in exchange for large donations to the Clinton foundation, the Uranium 1 scandal where massive bribes were paid to Clinton and her cronies to allow the controlling interest in the corporation that owns rights to US uranium to be sold to Russia, the lengthy list of rumored murders of people who opposed Clinton or knew too much LINK
