Meh..depends. if the point is 4/10 I'd rather have more odds on 6/8. Unless the guy just can't stop rolling 4s.

If the table is good I'll play the passline. After the point is made, min inside bet and 2x-3x odds on the passline. I'll press my inside bet 1-2x before I start same bet and taking the winnings. Pending the drink ladies have been running quick, I'll also throw out nickel hardways and hop bets. Slow table I either won't play or passline + 1-2x odds and 6 and 8 no pressure til it picks up.

Hop/Bunny bets? Really? I have never got down with those. I’ll throw a yo bet every time the waitresses come up and tell them it’s theirs if we win, but never have Bet the hop. I might have to try that.

From an odds of winning standpoint sure, but it’s boring and you probably won’t play for a long time

Play old men rolls that are systematic about their roll

Don't play hot chicks who are just throwing it however

There are going to be a lot if shitty rollers play light on their turn

Why in the hell do people play a negative expectation game? Horses, sports, poker can at least hypothetically be beaten. You Will lose at slots and table games, it's simply a question of how quickly. At least give yourself a chance.

Seriously, if you are deciding to play the 9 you should also play the 5 unless you don'time the number. 9 is the same as 5.

There is no code. Just ways you win or lose in a short period of time. I prefer Don't Pass unless I decide to shoot or I am feeling the shooter. If you are bored or cocky start betting the hard ways, the Yo's, and the Fire bets. Avoid all Hop bets. Play the pass/don't pass line and back your bets if all you want to do is sip on your drink, or play the come/don't come bets (but I find it riskier).

Dammit now I wish there there were some casinos here in VA. Maryland is too far to go and gamble.

Man I’m in the mood now to head down L’auberge after I leave the bar and play some craps.

I like your style, my friend. Get in when it’s good and protect it when it’s not! Don’t give anything away, but always have fun. Good luck, my friend!

Why do you go to the movies, out to eat, go to the bar, etc. etc. The logic for "why" is the same logic for anything else you do that is entertainment. None of those have a financial return and the casino o doesn't necessarily either. If you are willing to spend X amount of money doing Y that's fine. When you go to the casino bc you need to win or expect to win is when it is a problem. There's nothing wrong with a person who can afford to lose a couple hundred dollars go to gamble for the rush of possibly walking away with more. Its entertainment, paid just like the rest.

There is no code...

I play the Don’t 80% of the time..to lessen the impact of the variance you need to buy in for 10x the table min but that is still no guarantee.

I’ve played at many a choppy table (point, two-three numbers, one repeater, 7 out) and see guys use the OPs strategy and get wiped out after two or three rolls because they came to the table with $300 while playing the don’t I won a little (although I had to put up a lot to win that playing the don’t).

If I’m playing the don’t and see a lot of 6s and 8s I back off the don’t come bets and will even place the 6 and 8 and tell them no action if the 6 and 8 hits if I have a DC bet. It’s a grind but I tread water and get comps and free drinks.

Was alone at a table with an older Frenchmen (ironically the Paris) playing craps, I was playing pass, he was playing don't pass. I was on fire, and as per my usual very loud when winning, guy looked like he wanted to rip my heart out.
