I was nervous the very first time I played Craps because every move that I made while standing at the table got criticized by them. Now, if there is a game I've never played before, I'll watch a table for about 30 minutes to make sure I don't make an arse out of myself again


Regarding strategy, I like to bet $1 or $2 on the new-ish bonus bets that are on most tables - "small", "tall", and "all". The odds aren't good, but it's very little money at stake and it makes the game much more fun, especially when you've got a roller that is all over the place, but never rolls that 7.

Pass line w/ odds, 2 come bets w/ odds, stop and hope the shooter hits one of your 3 numbers. Basic jist is to always have 3 numbers, come bets offer a little insurance against a 7.

You will, at some point, get a hot roller who keeps hitting your numbers. The key is getting to that hot roller and walking away after that hot roller.
