Honest question...I assume the whole allure of this is that it can keep ice in it for a while without it melting. But what scenario woudl this be needed? I mean if you're deep sea fishing or somethign I'd think pepole would just buy a yeti cooler. If you're at a backyard cookout or something any regular bucket or cooler will do. I just can't envision a situation offhand where this would be needed at all.

It isn’t insulated. Just a thin piece of plastic.

Non-insulated models don’t come with a sticker.

It's a shame this one isn't insulated.

I have a knockoff, Magellan insulated ice chest. My wife won it at work. We haven't used it. And I don't think we will.

Why? Because you'll get a hernia lifting the thing ... without ice.

You can’t get the $40 bucket without the $30 lid

Pretty much same here. Won a K2 at work for company going 3 years without lost time accident. Thing weights a ton empty.
Store birdseed in it. The ice goes in my Igloo!
