Just had my first white privilege experience

Went into walmart, and bought a few things that were too big to fit into bags. Offered my receipt to the guy at the door and he said, I don’t need to see it, have a good day sir. He proceed to check the folks behind me

This happens to me from time to time as well but I have no idea if it's because of white privilege or not because I don't see color.

You don’t have to let them check your receipt at Wal Mart. You can walk right by and they will not stop you.

So what do you call it when I had the same experience, but the guy checking the receipt was black. The folks behind me he stopped to check was black.

They only check your reciept if you are carrying items that are not in a bag
