Just had my first "Old Man"stress test

I did good I guess, I made the ten minutes and six minutes to recover.
4.2 mph @ 16 deg incline. The worse part of it was my calves were burning like a bad pee (not that I know how that feels).
I do need to get my fat arse in shape, though.

How old are you??
49 soon. The bad thing is that I have been stuck behind a control board for the last 6 years. Sitting for 12 hours a day, seven days every two weeks took a toll.

I had one at 30 to make sure my heartburn wasn't actually something far worse.
Got tired of running after 10 min. The doctor gave me a hard time about that.
No one gave me a target to shoot for. I ran a half marathon several years ago, so it's not like I couldn't have gone longer. Mostly just hate running on treadmills.

Baw, hate to tell you, they start jabbing in finger at 40.
We all laugh about it, but a guy at work had the finger, Doctor felt something not right. It was cancer. Saved the man's life.

When I first read this it sounded like you were having your prostate checked by a guy at work.

Yeah, we have to take turns checking each other. I was the checker last month.
We do get checked at work, but we have a full time medical staff and the doctor comes out three days a week for physicals.

I've been doing stress test since I was a teenager. I have an irregular heart beat.
The worst was a few years ago when I had to do one. They called me the next day and told me it came back as positive and to get to the hospital immediately.
Scared the hell out of me. Went to the hospital and they ran a heart cath but it was all clear.

It takes me at least 30 minutes just to think about getting hard again after the second time.

Or find a hot neighbor 1.5 miles away and figure out her routine to catch her walking her dog.

How old are you now? And is your irregular heartbeat due to a heart valve issue?

I used to go to a Navy doc for flight physicals, he would like to BS but when he started he started to walk over to the box of gloves you'd better have a quick answer ready, "Captain, when's the last time..." "I just had it checked last week sir" if there was any hesitation at all, he could snap that glove on so fast you could smell the latex burning, "bend over that table for me son!" you just hoped to never feel his second hand on your shoulder
