I am desperate for some workout dumbells due to gyms closed. I was scrolling through Facebook and there was a set of adjustable bowflex dumbells for $99

Added them to cart and payed for. Get a receipt email from PayPal. Paid to motherfricking #$$###wangchung. The Chinaman got me. I will get fuking POS dumbells in 3 months with bowflex painted on them with Corona thrown in. The saying "To good too be true" applies here. Anyway stay safe and enjoy your weekend

Stop payment.

Duh.

It’s one of the reasons to use PayPal.

Go on eBay and ask to end the transaction. I get people that do it all the time.

ETA go to the purchase history page and look to the right hand side of that purchase box and you should see the option, it may require to use the "other actions" drop-down menu.

It was an ad I guess on Facebook that appeared. I was desperate. I should have been smarter. I did go through PayPal though that's how I knew when I got the seller when the paid receipt was sent to my PayPal app.

Eta: if I knew it was a seller in China I would never have purchased.

My son wanted workout equipment for his birthday next week. I had to get him a hodgepodge of those fluorescent women’s neoprene dumbbells. :(
