There are third party organizations that rank physicians, they use criteria such as how many of a particular procedure a physician as performed, advanced training they have received, research participation, and a host of other stuff.

Easy enough. Got a link to such a list?

Hope all is well OP, and you've had good news with your prognosis. I'm praying for you. Please update this thread whenever you feel like you can.

From just a quick scan of this thread, 41 of you have had or have known someone who has had a brain tumor of some kind.

Good Lord. That's alarming.

I have been dealing with a large glioma since 2003. I have had 3 craniotomies, 1 course of radiation and 2 courses of chemotherapy. Get a second opinion from one of the leading brain tumor centers in the US. I used UCSF and actually had my second surgery and first chemotherapy regimen designed there. Duke is another great option.

. I used UCSF

Know someone who got treated there. Extended his life far beyond his initial diagnosis.

There's only God.

Sounds like you can go with the flow.

Help your relatives say goodbye.
Forgive everyone.

Everybody dies.

DO you have any more information on the tumor that you would be comfortable sharing?

Have you made any decisions on a course of treatment?

Keeping in you my prayers.

My son survived a brain tumor.
St. Judes is a wonderful place.
Medulablastoma.
Very little invasion of the brain stem.
However, he will deal with the results for the rest of his life.
All is not lost. Be not afraid.
You can overcome.
Good luck and God Bless you.
