Most SEC schools however you only live in the house for a year and the dues plus things like cost for formals and fines add up. Basically there are thousands in extra cost for the average greek vs a normal student that usually daddy pays.

Why do I bother to read these Frat threads? When I see the reference to "brotherhood and lifelong bonds" it is at the same time laughable and disgusting. You were in a college social club, you got drunk with your buddy's and banged a few coeds. If you are over 25 years old and still think that was some kind of life altering experience you really need to re-evaluate your life. You want a brotherhood and lifelong bonds join the military and if you are lucky when you are 50-60 years old you will get to meet up with your buddy's at cemetery and hoist a drink to honor your brother that didn't make it.

so, how would that equate to someone applying to special forces, they're beta because of the shite they have to eat while in training? some of the most alpha guys that I know, in the legal, medical, business, and tech arenas are from my frat, a few months as a pledge aren't worth the payoff to be in that circle?
