Just became a father for the first time

Hey fellas,
Just wanted to share the good news. The wife and I just brought an adorable little girl into this world.
I'm a new dad. If there's any dad's with daughter experience, please share.
Once I got through the initial "oh my god" reaction, (we were convinced we were having a boy) this little girl has melted my heart.

my only advice is, don't be an arse hole, always treat your daughter and your wife with respect and love and care. Remember that many of people's problems come from things that happened/didn't happen in their childhood, so try to keep that in mind.

Congratulations! God has blessed your family.
Life just started for you. It does bring back memories. I wanted my first to be a boy, but we got a girl and she is 25 now and still my wonderful baby girl!

This feeling is amazing but my mind is drifting to 13 plus years from now when boys start coming into the picture.
How do you deal with that?
