I don't, i think he was hired by Harris/Booker to make sure he doesn't spill the beans and out anyone else in his scheme.
This is an easy case, CPD has all the evidence, and the 2 key witnesses. I think this hiring, is part of others trying to make sure he doesn't roll on them.

A Chicago police spokesman tells @ABC: "As of 10am this morning, there was a dialogue between prosecutors and Jussie's attorneys. We are hopeful that we’ll have a chance to ask the questions that we have."

Jussie's lawyers are still trying to negotiate a meet up. GJ hearing was put on hold until they come to an agreement or CPD/prosecutor gets fed up with the stalling.

That they have. From a PR perspective, CPD has been winning this whole situation.
No one can say they've treated anyone unfairly or ignored the accusations to this point, and the leaks to the media suggest they've been several steps ahead of Jussie and his attorneys the whole time.
