Jury finds all Oregon standoff defendants not guilty

The Bundy brothers and occupiers Jeff Banta and David Fry also were found not guilty of having guns in a federal facility. Kenneth Medenbach was found not guilty of stealing government property, and a hung jury was declared on Ryan Bundy's charge of theft of FBI surveillance cameras.

The Bundy's were fighting over grazing rights and the Feds taking over lands. Others were opportunist militants that joined up with the "cause". The militants are rejects that lied about their military experience and the only one with military experience is pretty psycho that gives right wingers a bad name.
The Bundy's have used Federal land for years worth of free grazing and Uncle Same wants to get paid. There's a lot to it and I guess it depends on how you feel about the US taking over whole states like the pretty much have done in Oregon.

Holy crap. Read the article at the link. The US Marshals tackled and tazed one of the defense lawyers at the end when he demanded to see a copy of a retainer warrant for his client, the Judge ordered the courtroom cleared and the US Attorney left early to attend a Minority Voters political rally. What the frick has happened to our justice system?

Yeah there are no winners in this. I understand the Bundys have more at stake, but this entire Oregon ordeal was originally about an arson case that the Bundys made all about their "cause".
Let's not forget that someone lost their life over all of this stupidity.
