Hopefully we don't get someone even worse.

Even Oliver Thomas, a convicted felon, would be better than her.

The only possible choices as I see it, are another full blown kleptocrat, or a true believer wacko like Moreno (who likely doesn't really have a chance anyway).

I still blame Mitch Landrieu for sending us down this road. Dude had a chance to steer things in another direction, but chose to send us veering off a cliff to cozy up to the DNC. frick that slimy cockscker.

Why do you say that? Who's going to challenge her?

From Fox 8:

quote:

Schmidt (Breaud's attorney) again raised questions over how the mayor got his client’s social security number, old driver’s license photo, and other personal information for the court filings.

“This judgement today does not preclude Ms. Breaud from going forward with any kind of action, perhaps over (at the federal courthouse), and not here (at the parish courthouse) in the future to determine exactly what happened with that information, how it got into her petition,” he said.

How about a Geaux Breaud GoFundMe?

Given our current political climate, it was even more important that these issues were brought to light, highlighting that no one should have to endure the burden of any kind of threats or mistreatment.

Now that this legal proceeding has taken place, there is greater awareness that the Mayor needs to be treated with respect and dignity and be able to have a safe quality of life for herself and her family.

The Mayor will continue to serve the citizens of this great city and will remain focused on moving us forward together."

In her mind, she won. She didn't show up and she didn't have to testify which would have been probably been very damaging. I really wanted her to testify. There should still be an investigation into whether Vappie was on the clock when they were eating. I'm so tired of her getting away with so much.

Awesome. Now the people she and her voters hate (tax payers) will cover this too.

She was elected, reelected, and beat a recall..... And if she could run she would be reelected in Orleans Parish.

Ray Nagin was quoted from prison saying "Well we don't want her in our neighborhood when she does finally go to the clink".

I'd vote for Nagin over probably anyone else who might reasonably have a chance of winning that office.

Sadly agree. History seems to just keep repeating itself in the entire state.

One day though.
