Well his thoughts on archetypes are based on Carl Jung's metaphysical junk science.
He conflates postmodernism with Marxism, arguing that postmodernism is merely Marxist beliefs disguised as something else with the only difference being the change from rich vs poor being oppressor vs oppressed.
He made an arse of himself crying about the Canadian legislation adding transgender people to the list of protected classes of people against discrimination by arguing that it was somehow the beginning of the slow march toward Communist reeducation camps. It was a fairly innocuous bill that he made bigger deal out of than it was.
The latest display of mental retardation was his theory that men like the guy in Toronto wouldn't commit such acts of violence if we had forced monogamy. So having a fascist rape state will keep men from killing people according to Jordan Peterson. Because apparently guys are incapable of controlling their rage unless women sleep with them. This has made him quite popular among incel scum bags online.

That’s the beauty of it. Deep down, I believe that these truths could be pulled out by everybody that is honest with themselves. The political correctness crowd and thought police crowd have to do a massive amount of mental gymnastics in order to come to their conclusions.

Can you tell me how that’s wrong? Hell, in that Michael Eric Dyson clip, the one where I stupidly said that Dyson challenged Peterson uses the term oppressed about 15 times.

Wow. To force that interpretation on him shows your intention to summarily discount any and everything he has to say by tarring him with a universally untenable position.
How about listening to him directly about what he has to say about his enforced monogamy, "Start with what I don't mean. I don't mean taking innocent women at gunpoint and handing them over to useless men." Here is a 3 minute Youtube video where he expands on this issue and any rational person who isn't enforcing an agenda will see your interpretation above is pure bunk.

I understood your original post. It’s so polarizing because today we’re blasted with an endless degree of political correctness that goes counter to what you and I and pretty much everybody else in the world would consider common sense and an overall good thing. You hear it nonstop from the media, the left, Hollywood, academia and on and on.
It’s important to speak on these topics and push back hard against the attitudes and leanings of the people that throw common sense and logic out the window.
