Jefferson and Delta are doing.

Not sure about Jefferson, but I heard Delta is effectively shut down from hosting their own rec leagues, but are currently being run by another playground as their park is being rehabbed (maybe Little Farms? with their gym getting a face lift right now)

JP is as crooked as Orleans but people tend to overlook it because it has a functioning government.

Growing up in JP, I would've never believed it until that shite with the "brew pub" in Gretna started. There's some shady arse shite going down with that.

It pisses me off, but we do have a functioning government though.

From what I recall, the parking at clearly (and most playgrounds) also sucks. What do they have, 2 small lots and everyone else parks around the neighborhood

My son played ball at Cleary, it was like that 4 years ago, even worse if you had the late game.

Coach Joe Noto was the man, an old school coach who would tell the boys to stop acting like a bunch of sissies...

Holy shite...there's a name I haven't heard in a while! That guy was a sight in those Bike coach's shorts ripping lung darts.

Our boy Alan Frey is doing good for himself - now HC of women's team at Northwestern State.

Yep....

Would ride my bike to Lakeshore as a 7 year old...

Losing to Girard, by one run, in the Dixie Youth parish championship, I was crushed, only time I cried my eyes out.

I think Jeff Parish could use a tennis facility, but why Bright? Do something at Lafreniere or LaSalle

They are sending all the kids to Cleary to play and then say there are low participation numbers (all while Lakeshore is using Bright because of renovations at their facility.)

If they send the Bright kids to Cleary, parking for games is going to be even more of a nightmare than it already is.
