Looks like you are a pretty effective troll starting this thread and getting exactly what you want without responding as of yet.
That said, all of the LA historically black colleges are doing their students' no favors. In fact, until we all stop insisting that different standards exist for any race, we will never truly move towards equality. The very thing we employ to "make things even," actually move us apart.

JBE actually wants to keep SUNO, the HBCUs, a couple commuter schools and a ton of the worthless community colleges open. That alone should tell you he's unqualified to be Governor.

You just summarized why the whole operating premise of the "black lives matter" movement is destructive to their proposed goal.
This happens any time there is large amounts of black leadership who think they have the best interests of their race by not including outsiders. They segregate themselves and its very sad.

HBCU exist to serve the public by providing a cultivating learning experience instead of a relentless one.
HBCU are not the problem, and if the educational system were more balanced I could see a reason to dismiss them.

I go to a school where only 8 % of students graduate and roughly only 36% are accepted. Translation: Everyone can not get in and only a few make it out. That should be a testament to the difficulty of Southern.
But this is about Edwards, I wanted to see if anyone knew more about his upcoming term as governor.
