Jim was excellent last night!

If you are in Oklahoma City, Dallas, or Houston...do yourself a favor and go see him.

We got tickets today for JR and Friends on Tuesday night. Got to be quick on your toes, they were sold out in less than 5 mins. Going to be a great time.

Have a conference call shortly so I'm reluctantly awake. Last night was one for the books, went a little harder than normal given I have b-day in a couple days. I can go ahead and give you a little scoop, a Protect Our Parks will be dropping shortly. They did it before yesterday's 7pm performance and judging from the condition of a few folks they also went hard Last nights line up:
Deric Poston
Brian Simpson, his Netflix special dropped yesterday.
Mark Normand, he was cooked.
Ron White
Ari Shaffir
Tony Hinchcliffe
Shane Gillis, he was awesome, dude is on fire right now.
Then Joe for about 40 mins, a little shorter than usual, he was also feeling it and a little "looser" than normal it seemed. Hit a couple bars afterwards, saw Hinchcliffe out walking down 6th. Great night.

i originally read that as them doing a live "Protect our Parks" which seems like that could indeed be a very good time.

But it sounds like that was before they came on.

I don't enjoy heavy drinking like they do, but watching them do it and try to keep it together remains hilarious.

I would like to go at some point, but this thread also reminds me that Baton Rouge... Well Louisiana really has a shite comedy scene.

No...I have seen Jim in:
Addison, TX
Dallas, TX-Twice
New Orleans, LA
NYC-Twice
Austin,TX- Twice
And went to his show/venue in Bethlehem, PA but my flight was delayed and by the time I got there it was sold out! I was visiting the area of Pennsylvania for a friends surprise 50th birthday and Jim just happened to be in the area at the time.

In the past year and a half I have seen Bert Krisher in Lafayette and Theo Von in Baton Rouge. And I am going to see Kerryn Feehan in Lafayette next week.

When I go to NYC I go to The Comedy Cellar where I have seen Roy Wood, Jr., Mark Normand and one time I at the bar upstairs and Louis CK was sitting with Dan Soder right next to me.

Louis was working on his Monolog because he was hosting SNL.

A case +1 in 4 hours. I can't fathom how people can hold that much liquid.

does Jim Norton's "wife" travel with him?

my wife stumbled on their youtube channel reality show and it is easily one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. Nikki Norton may be the most thirsty person in the world. Jim's whole "I am married to a man but I am not gay" is an interesting thing to build comedy routines around.
