Anybody been listening to this yet? I'm about 30 minutes into it and this guy is so calm talking about what the virus has a possibility to do.

It was nice to hear that they only see an infection rate in people under 18 at 2.5%. My wife is about to have our second child any day now. I'm ready to get it over with and get out of the hospital as fast as we can.

Sobering. And immediately dismissed by the "if it hasn't happened yet, it can't ever happen" crew.

Yes. Listened to it the other day. Pretty good stuff. The part on CWD was interesting too.

It is his job to be calm and collected. No different than a surgeon when something goes wrong like a heart attack while doing a shoulder surgery.
Or special ops guys getting some kind of surprise attack. It is what they train for.

It's pretty good. Once I get back in the truck, I'm going to finish it.

Toward the beginning, he said that he would get to the point where he says some things that will calm everyone's nerves. Spoiler... he never does.

He said something along the lines of everybody pointing out the flu numbers vs the Coronavirus numbers. He says basically the flu has a years worth of data and the Coronavirus is in its infancy.

I gave up on deer meat about 2 year ago because of this. They all said you couldn't get mad cow until people became sick.

I don't like venison nearly enough to keep eating it.
