I know a gal that makes deep 6 figures as an independent nursing recruiter. No formal education...saw a need and ran with it.

Nowadays, with corporations, that's an HR career path. Just 15/20 years ago, it was fuzzy.

Pharm rep for sure. I’ve interviewed for a few pharma sales jobs and knew by looking at the employees I wasn’t getting that job.

A girl on my team, with a degree from UGA, moderate attractiveness, left to become a real estate agent. I thought she was crazy. She's closing a deal per week and has been "agent of the year" a couple times, and is one of the top sellers in the state. It's bananas. Just good looking enough, smart, and aggressive. She's closing shiat constantly and posting on facebook.

Point being, you don't even have to be "hot," just hot enough.
