There is pretty wide support of vaccine mandates on the OT. Way more than I'd have thought at least

Yeah the worst part of this mess isn't the fact that they are telling us we can't do this or we have to take the shot it's the large amount of mindless idiots cheering it on. Once government gets a taste of control like this there is no going back

The key is don't quit. Make them fire you.

In the meantime start looking for a new employer as a backup plan.

As far as work culture goes, we were China way before China was.

We have never changed our hours of operation, number of employees, or required masks.

The government can eat my dick.

Yep. Just look at the rant. I never would have imagined we'd see that many people cheering on the vaccine requirements to go to a football game. It's wild

Lol. This is exactly what’s happening at Disney. Labor shortages all around, but by sept 30th they have to have the vaccine. They will fire people in salary roles, those people will come to Universal and fill their openings, and Universal vaccinated people will see the opportunity to switch companies and go to Disney as they fill the roles of fires unvaccinated people.

Everyone but unvaccinated employees will win in this situation (as they will be taking a pay cut).

Well, for this board, you fall into a gray zone.

On one hand employers are free to do what they want. Unions and government mandates are bad, and all employees are at will.

On the other hand, this board seems to dislike vaccinations and other efforts to deal with the virus.

So, there you are. Good luck on the job search.

I'm not against the vaccine but I think it should be a personal choice and I don't really care if anyone chooses not to get it. We shouldn't have shut anything down over Covid to begin with.

72% of adults have had at least one dose, the covid shot anti vaxxers make up less than 20% of adults. I am surprised you are surprised.

Put it off as long as you can.

Seek a religious exemption.

Locate people inside your company that feel the way you do.

If they tell you 95% are vaccinated, they are lying.

Companies are not going to fire 30% of their workers.

Stick together!
