Take the first job offer you get and the next better one. Just make sure that you give proper notice.

How are some of you this bad at life? Why didn't you get the POC at job #2's business card? Why didn't you follow up with a thank you note/email?
Why would you not take the initiative and pick up the phone and call the guy? Worst he can tell you is they're hiring someone else.

This. Call the dang office and ask the secretary or someone there for his email and contact information. Just tell them you interviewed and want to send a thank you. Its not like work emails are top secret information or something.
Take note that you should never leave an email without getting your interviewers email and phone number. Definitely send a thank you card or at least a dang email to anyone you interviewed with that you would like to work for.

There is no such thing as looking desperate in a job search. Desperate employees largely do a good job as the job is valuable to them. I'd be much more concerned about hiring someone who seems disinterested in the position - it leads me to question their incentives.
I think people mix up job searches and dating strategy too often, probably because you have to influence another person to give you something non-material.

I am guessing no email, no thank you sent for interview. You not getting either. Keep looking and prep better next time.

Go for the job you really want. The interviewer is juggling many applicants until a decision is reached and someone accepts the job. Let him know you are interested and motivated.

I'm under 30, and I sent a hand written thank you card. I got the job. My new boss said it was a nice touch. Doubt it landed me the job, but it definitely was a +. It takes ten seconds. Why would someone not do something that could only help, not hurt?
