She was on Rogan a while back. Interesting listen. Her mother was her agent and she stole like 100MM. First thing I thought was “how did jewel make 100mm?” Apparently she made a hell of a deal with the record company where she got no front money but was banking it on the back end. She took a deal with no money…..while living in her car.
