The famously stable airline industry is ripping us off. That's why none of them ever go out of business, and why all their startups have instant success

I dont think you know how big a 747 is. This is one sitting directly next to a 10,000 gallon refueling truck. The 747 larger and significantly wider than the truck.
If you ever go to the airport sit and watch how many of these trucks are brought out. It's normally anywhere from 3-5 depending on how much full the plane still had in it and how far it needs to go.
Here is an older plane with a wider shot. Objects closer to the camera will appear appear larger. See how big the plane is in the background?

Everyone knows they only use the jet fuel when they need to dodge the clowds and astroids.
Where are all you newby idiots coming from all of a sudden? Seems like a ton of you folks on here lately.

So, you are confirming that they load the jets up with all of this fuel, when they don't need it all because it runs on 90% compressed air. But they have to keep up the appearances so they can keep charging us for the same fuel over and over again.

I too rely on facebook memes for my knowledge base. Can't believe all the other sheep out here thinking birds are real and the earth is ball-shaped. We all know balls are gay

How is that "confirming" anything? You think they run planes bone dry? Do you think they will load up a plane with the full fuel load to fly from New Orleans to Houston? The fuel load is calculated based on the trip.
Do you stop at the gas station and completely fill up every time you leave the house?

My whole F-14 Tomcat career was a lie.

Yeah a jet engine is a GAS turbine.

The internet being unfettered and unregulated has been great for so many things, but its proliferation of absolute idiotic ideas that take hold of simple minded “intellectuals” who can find 1,000 people as dumb as them and connect is a huge downside.
1,000 people believing one thing in a single place seems like a lot of people until you realize it’s like 1,000 people out of 1,000,000,000. Jesus some of these conspiracy theorist, like that Liberator loon, are truly too stupid to insult.

Guess that compressed air is what melted steel.

ust remember where the IQ bell curve is centered. Whole lot of sub-100 IQ people out there.
From the bell curve here, we can see that the categories are:
130–145 — Genius
115–130 — Gifted
100–115 — above average (technically)
80–100 — below average (slightly)
70–85 — more belower average
55–70 — most belowest average

Compressed air must be the reason why we see a huge fireball mushroom cloud when planes crash

You can’t possibly be this stupid. I bet you think the Earth is flat too.

For one, that tank is a hell of a lot bigger than 60,000 gallons.
By eye it is 16' tall and 40' in diameter. 150k gallons
