771K people like his Facebook page.

If each of those people give just $100 each, he will have enough for the plane and fuel for a few years.

He is getting a bad rap here. He is very frugal with his money as evidenced by the fact that he isn't asking for the more expensive Falcon 8X which has a 6500 mile range. I actually think he deserves the 8X not the cheap arse 7X because Jesus wants and deserves the 8X not the 7X!

How can people so successful in business be so stupid when it comes to these fraudsters?

When it comes to being smart and/or stupid, a lot of us are intelligent when it comes to something specific, but completely the opposite when it comes to everything else. It's strange, because when you realize someone has the ability to be successful by doing something, you would think they would have basic common sense.

I couldn't imagine being a multi-millionaire and giving enough money to some televangelist, when I have the money to directly help people in need, however; I wouldn't be surprised if it's more of a business deal. More of an investment. "I donate to him because he is able to provide me with so much business".

Exactly why religion needs it's 501 status pulled. They can get it back when they police this BS.

For the same reason people like Rod Parsley and Jeff Fenholt would brag about wearing 3 Rolex watches on one arm. God wanted to bless them. They believed, they were givers blah blah blah.

Damn charlatans the lot of them.

Send your money now so god will start to move in your life. Claim that new car in Jesus name, believe in that new house. Just start giving and god will give it back to you 100 fold.

I've seen friends empty their checking accounts believing this stupidity.

What's amazing to me is that people stupid enough to give him money actually have money to give.

Just a guess. So he can't deduct that? Then maybe he is just a moron. Or getting some other benefit we don't see.

I know an elderly woman who believes in these magic tonic peddlers. She barely makes enough money from her social security check to live at poverty level and so has to clean houses to make ends meet. Yet...she finds it in her heart to give money to these frauds because she honestly believes she 'will see her reward in this life or the next'.

It's tragic because this woman has the sweetest heart you could imagine...yet, her ignorance is doing her in.

When I tried to explain to her that prosperity gospel is not scripture and that any 'preacher' who espouses it is a heretic, she said she would pray for my soul.

I have never heard of this guy. Didn't realize this level of stupidity still exists. Seems like most of his congregation are elderly white folks.
