You wouldn't want the devil getting on Flightaware and tracking your flights.

In 2015, Duplantis and Copeland defended their use of private jets. In a segment on Copeland's television program, they argued that commercial planes were full of "a bunch of demons" that will bog down their busy schedules with prayer requests, The Washington Times reported.

I will steal this line from Chevy Chase in Fletch Lives.

quote:

I believe in a God that doesn’t require high finances...

So, I guess the tithes of 10% by millions of followers goes a long way to salvation by buying your minister or ministry a jet, a palatial palace, large amphitheater or former arena, and broadcasts to nearly every TV home worldwide.

These thieves are about as trustworthy as a politician. We need money (taxes) for this, but they spend it on X.

I use to live in Ormond. The majority of his gullible congregation drives in from from other areas. I have seen his wife in her Jag several times dressed better than Ivanka. They don't try to hide their incredible life style. I also knew a person who worked in the warehouse. The majority of his money comes from selling elderly people trinkets to get into "heaven". He is despicable. Once had a friend defend his right to do this shite, I suspect he was a patron

Another thing about some of these charlatins is that they will live their lifestyle through the church.

That is not a house for Jesse, but a church or church property to avoid taxes. Also, the cars they drive are for the church. I would be willing to bet the clothes they wear are probably expensed through the church so they can say they only receive a meager or no salary from the church. At that rate, they can even go on expensive vacations and meals which are funneled through church expenses and look like they are millionaires.

I defend his right to do this to dumb people and I’m not even religious.

Other than the tax free thing.

This dude is no different than the panhandlers sitting at stoplights holding their bullshite signs. If you give them money you're an idiot.

Bingo. The bigger problem is them being able to use the system to get everything tax free. no religion, church, or any other organization should be able to use this loophole.

Avoiding taxes while “taxing” their followers is a problem.

Yep. If I'm not mistaken... I think Rev Leroy is on his second private jet. Not sure how many Bentleys he owns now.

THAT is the Jesus I know.

54 million dollar jets and ostentatious mansions attained by preaching a prosperity gospel to people who often struggle to rub 2 pennies together is appalling and if I’m sickened by it, I can just imagine how God feels about it and the message it sends to people.

There’s no two ways about it. It’s revolting, and I really don’t know of any scripture that can justify it either.

This is what turns people off to much of organized religion in the first place, preaching a gospel they don’t even resemble with their enormous wealth and gaudy lifestyles, be they Protestant prosperity preachers, lavishly adorned mega churches, or the Catholic Church itself. You can’t escape the ridiculous wealth and treasure they’ve stored up for themselves, and all while people still go hungry and are in need in this world. It’s sick.

Unless Jessie is flying critically ill patients to surgery or flying organs to transplant surgery non-stop around the globe he cannot justify this when there are other means of travel. If he were spending a portion of this kind of money on a global TV network and bringing the satellite feeds to the lost in nations where Christianity is not welcome then he may be able to justify raising these type of funds. God does not bless us for storing up wealth for ourselves while on earth. We are to store up our treasures in Heaven. This is done by witnessing for Him and by spreading God's word. God's idea of treasures in Heaven are eternal life free of sin, disease, pain, suffering, etc. God does not punish us for being successful while on earth as long as we use those riches to bless and help others. We are required to be good stewards of what is provided to us. But, God does warn us about the accumulation of wealth to serve our own self. Also, remember that money given to Jessie's ministry is given as a tithe or offering fully belonging to the work of the church and not the work of Jessie's lifestyle. To maneuver church funds for personal gain is not a Godly lifestyle that will be punished. Only Jessie, and God, really know the whole truth. But, those giving to the ministry are just as responsible to be good stewards of the finances and resources provided to them. They will also answer for the choices they make in providing wealth for a single minister when they could also provide help and aid to someone in need. In short it is very discouraging to Christians to see this type of behavior and not know for sure how God will judge this. But, if your minister is building mansions for himself, buying super expensive exotic cars, traveling first class worldwide and trying to buy a $50+ million dollar jet, you need to reevaluate where you are worshipping and what you are supporting. God teaches us to judge what we see by the fruit that is produced. Is Jessie producing all of the fruit he could with the resources that are being provided to him? God will judge accordingly one day.

He flys litterally all over the world to preach. His appearances draw thousands of people wherever he goes.

He also sells books, he broadcast his Sunday messages online to just about every country in the world.

He’s a marketing genius. God has blessed him ten fold. More power to him.
