Leaf vac is the way to go. Cut down bags by more than half from this year to last year.

I may do that next year. There's a guy that, if you blow them all to the curb, then he'll come suck them up for $75 per load.

There something cathartic about raking and bagging them, though. Of course, taking the ones from the backyard to the curb... that's not so fun.

I use a mulching blade on my mower. Cuts that shite down into dime sized pieces and smaller, then make a second pass and suck it up into the bag. Reduces leaves from 3-4-bags into one.

Besides the fact that you’ve always done it, how ridiculous is to put leaves in a fricking trash bag and ship far away from the tree they fell from? Humans are strange

Does Germantown not have the truck that sucks up leaves from the curb? We've got it in Collierville, I would think it is in Germantown as well

Blow/rake in a pile, add gas, toss match and run.

I did this in my mom's backyard, she didn't think it was funny but it worked.

Just blow them in to your neighbor's yard when he's not home.

My Butler had this problem at his weekend retreat lakehouse, his underbutler's gardener took care of it.

They run through once a year to clear the gutters. Not sure when it is. I guess, if you time it right, you could blow them all down the day or so before the truck came through.

Don't damage his "designer" fence or you'll get a cease and desist letter from him.

Is it a dick move to blow these into the lake, or should I suck it up and bag them?

Doesn't anyone burn leaves anymore?

If your HOA won't allow leaf burning, blowing it into the lake is a solid 2nd option. If leaves hurt lakes God wouldn't have put lakes in the forest.

Whatever you do don't bag it. Putting leaves in 40 bags and sending them to a landfill is horrible for the environment. You take a biodegradable leaf and turn it into a mass of plastic that will survive an eon.

today I blew my leaves to the edge of my driveway (not into the street). Let nature take it from there.
