Jennings PD running radar

I travel on I-10 frequent. Witnessed the Jennings PD running radar approximately 1 mile from the Roanoke exit. So apparently this is not within the Jennings Corp. He was clocking eastbound traffic. Is this legal? This is not the 1st time I’ve witnessed this. Any O-T lawyers think there is a way of fighting the ticket/fine?

I would think if its outside of his jurisdiction it isn't allowed, but after reading the book about the Jennings 8, I really wouldn't trust the Jennings police,

According to the book I read, at one point they really took advantage of having I10 go right through it.
I can only imagine how many drug bust they made and the amount of cash that went unreported.

Normally I'd rib you about speeding but... Hellll no! He's fricking Cheating. They do this in St John Parish too where they go that one lil stretch of 10 between 61 and 641 roughly. They make it fricking count.

Jeff Davis parish is a shithole. Got a ticket there once from a deputy kid. The DA told me (thru a friend) to write a check for the ticket cost made out to the sheriff's reelection campaign fund and he dropped the ticket.

I travel that frequently also. I’ve been wondering the same thing. Also happening with Rayne PD Close to Duson exit (but according to google maps, Rayne PD is within the city limits even though its 4 miles from the exit).
