Yeah, it's kind of tricky. One day the sun sets at 8:30 and the next day it sets at 5:00.

I just try to not make a big deal out of it, it always seems like it takes a few days to adjust, but I have also gotten to a point where I don't really think about it. Yeah the sun comes up earlier and it gets darker earlier, but I just roll with it. People complain, but its 5 months. After December 21 the days start getting a tab bit longer every few days and before you know it, it changes again.. And its during the winter.. so its not like you are going to be out much.. Unless you go hunting or something, in which case, the sun coming out earlier is a good thing. Will I be more tired that usual the next few days? Probably, but why bitch about it?
