Jeff Landry is an idiot.
Nothing against Charlie, but we didn't have statues on campus for years and still have very few. No reason to add one for a guy with no tie to the university.

Take the emotion out of it, college campuses is where the political indoctrination of young adults start,,,,countering some of the liberal spew on these campuses starts with initiatives that support conservative values such as Turning Point chapters locally. While I agree JL could be focused on other priorities, this isn’t a totally bad thing.

Why not just come out and request a Brian Kelly statue be placed on the grounds of the school.
If I was an enterprising student, I would find the most offensive smelling flowers to plant around such statue to go with the stench of his failure.

Landry is an idiot. The fake tiger was one thing. Putting this up is a huge mistake. If the Board approves this, that are all spineless. Tragic what happened to Kirk but he has no ties to LSU. Statues are for people who are connected to LSU who achieved something great.

It is a horrible thing. Having people talk on campus about politics not matter the view has always been the case. Placing a statue on campus with someone who has no direct tie is just dumb. Imagine if another governor wanted to put a statue of something that is a liberal cause, people would lose their mind over that. Keep Landry away from LSU.
