This is basically just the government (federal, state, and local)’s opportunity to try whatever they want and for us to ask for it and more. Flatten the curve!

It's probably to curb possible looting.

I don't see the purpose of a curfew for this situation

It lets someone swing their dick around and feel important.

All the meth labs in Jeff Davis Parish will be at full throttle as normal.

There was probably a huge party planned for this coming weekend at some coonarse barn or something so they shut it down with this so no one will get serial kilt.

Concordia Parish just announced 10 pm-6am. Looks like most parishes will have their own version of it.

Catahoula parish has less than 10k people total.
Very rural.

This is comical.

This sounds dumb as hell. Most people are in bed asleep at that time. If they weren't, they be probably at bars and restaurants, but those are closed.

This seems like a bullshite move just to flex authority.

How would anyone be able to tell? Parish looks like it has a curfew every night!

Or it's a way to show you're in charge and taking care of things but you actually don't have to do anything.

You've been inconsolable all day, man. Have a beer or a joint. It's okay.

You think a curfew is reasonable? Please explain.

not just that, reasonable in a rural parish without any known cases

the frick is the point of this other than flexing on citizens who aren't doing anything?

I was wondering what the government would try next. It looked like they were running out of ideas.

They probably lack law enforcement officers at night or can move some officers to a day or evening slot.
