I now have the want again for a Jeep.

Buying a Jeep is a terrible decison. They drive like shite, they ride rough, they leak, the insulation sucks and the a/c is subpar, the electronics are sketchy at best, fit and finish are terrible, underpowered, bad gas mileage, high insurance, reliability can be questionable.
WHOA! Ease up there Francis. I had full coverage on mine for $84 a month. But the rest of your statement is spot on.

So much for picking it up today. Dealership got to the other for the dealer trade. Looked the Jeep over and found it had hail damage they didn't disclose. Ugh

Sometimes in my Ford I'll wave to people in Jeeps or motorcycles and those dorks wave back because they give me the benefit of the doubt that I'm one of them, in another vehicle.

Or maybe they are just being friendly?

No it's the jeep/bike wave. Steering wheel/down and out.

Damn that sucks. They couldn't find one at another dealership?

Have you even ridden in the new wranglers?
Yes, every day. I stand behind my statements.
Step out from behind the Jeep love and really evaluate it. I love my jeep and will always have one. They are the least practical vehicle on the market.

Yeah, but that is because you lived in a safe neighborhood with quality neighbors

I have owned some sort of jeep pretty much my entire driving life. I really do love them, but I don't try to pretend that they are flawless

It's Wednesday. Did you buy it?

And that's what I hate about driving my jeep.
Just because it's a pretty day and you also have a jeep does not mean I want to talk to you. It also does not mean I want you to walk around my vehicle evaluating what I have done to it.
Sunday was jeep day, Monday-wednesday have been 4runner days, the next week will be xterra.

Hmm..yeah, maybe you have a point there.

Join tread lightly and order yours. Track it from factory on jeep garage forum. Pretty cool. I saw mine in rail yard before it got to my dealer. Also order jeep brochures for several models and might get golden ticket.

I am putting the 10th anniversary rubicon hood on my 13 Sahara the end of this month. Thanks to the hail storm we had in April.
