I have one of those. Got it in the mail a few months after I bought my jeep.

I have owned some sort of jeep pretty much my entire driving life. I really do love them, but I don't try to pretend that they are flawless

They can be a major pain in the arse... but when that perfect spring or fall day happens and you lose the top and doors... it's all worth it.

What do you need explained. There is not one thing that a man does that a Jeep is the best tool. Hauling or towing have much better options, packing hunting or fishing gear in the can offers almost no storage.

Aside from meaningless joy rides, which men don't do, it is not purposeful.

If you like em, that's great, but it isn't the manliest vehicle as was mentioned

You do realize the back seat can fold down giving you plenty of storage.

I don't think you do. Anyone who convinces someone to buy a Jeep is a bad friend and has questionable morals. It is like we all want to drag people into a shitty club together.

The Jeep wave is exactly that. It is just an acknowledgement that we are all morons driving a short wheel based fixed axle leaf spring chassis. When coils came the wave died. Rightfully so. The Jeep became wider than a f250 and powered by a minivan motor.

Then buy something that holds value, definitely not a car.

I built a rolling door holder and have a hoist setup for the top already. Won't take long at all to take the doors on and off at needed.

And it's been 6 days since this thread was started. Buy the damn jeep already.

He got his lifted with bigger tires not only because it looks good but because he actually goes off-roading in his. Not crazy hard core rock climbing though...only because his jeep is also his daily driver. He plans on keeping that jeep several years though so at some point it won't be his daily driver....then he can have more fun with it.

Same here.

My Sahara is lifted 3" with 35s and is my daily driver. Taking care of it for the time being till it gets some more age on it then ill be able to have a little more fun with it.

Got some haters in here

No, men shouldn't. Men should drive somewhere to do something.

For joy riding you could do it in a VW bug or Jeep.
