That shite is funny on a road with no traffic. Anywhere else this could easily cause a major accident.

I got death wobble while driving through Birmingham AL in our 2000 TJ.
Traffic cleared out around us in a hurry.
Good advice in here regarding front suspension component maintenance and tire maintenance.
Search for "planman death wobble" videos on youtube. He does a thorough job of explaining them. I think he has 3 videos total on the JK.

I had a 2004 Grand Cherokee that I bought used. It had the wobble and would scare the piss out of me on the interstate. I put probably $1K into fixing it, but it would still flare up occasionally.
I ended up selling it to a guy who said he could fix it.

My last one did it a month after buying. My god. Replaced the entire suspension below essentially. Have a hunch it was because they put a shitty lift on there but never got a longer track bar.
If OP is worried, just get a LJ. Hear those never get the death wobble.

I have a Jeep TJ, last model of the real Jeeps
Sorry, the last model of the real Jeeps was 1986.
I had the death wobble in a F250 Crew cab 4x4 on I-10 once that scared the crap out of me and the guy riding with me. Traffic parted around us and I pulled to the shoulder expecting to find something broken or a tire blown. Found nothing. I drove much slower the rest of the way.
