Well yeah, the numbers don't lie. However, all of these people catching it now had the chance to get vaccinated and chose not to. I did exactly what they asked of me all of last year.. Wore my mask, went and got my vaccine like the good little sheep that I am.. All for what???
I say this knowing one of my best friends who is in the ICU and not doing good from Covid. frick these pieces of shite.

This is running wild out there.
It's as if people don't recognize that what they are experiencing may not be what everyone is experiencing.
I got in an argument with a nurse the other day because people are dying left and right in the hospital she works in from COVID.
I told her then they are a crappy hospital because there are more than enough effective treatment options to prevent widespread death as seen by the numbers across the country.
She then berated me because "you don't work in healthcare" (I actually do)
She also said it was people like me that makes me want to quit her job but I doubt it, she loves the dopamine high she gets from "being a hero".
She was one of those people who wears a mask in their Facebook pic.

So according to this (assuming it's accurate) the numbers may start to slow down but we are still at our highest since April of last year.

yeah it's not ideal at all, but we've hit the peak already and are back on the downward slope. So a mask mandate is quite pointless at this stage.
