It is unconscionable to force this upon any age group, let alone kindergarteners. Last school year the masks weren’t required until 3rd grade. My granddaughter (I’m her legal guardian) is entering 2nd grade and I have some serious decisions to make. Our school board had barely decided that masks were “optional” but I could tell by their hem-hawing that the majority was salivating for their idol JBE to institute this inhumane and unconstitutional edict.

The vaccines aren’t as effective at stopping the infection of the delta variant altogether, but all of the data suggests they’re doing a very good job stopping serious cases.

My position is they do work....based on everything you see let's take worst case scenario....the current mRNA vaccines are 60% effective against Delta (which is better than any version of the flu shot you get yearly)....and are 85%+ at stopping severe disease and still around 95% at preventing hospitalization. So my position is that they work....but why masking...masks in general don't work and if I'm vaccinated I'm not wearing one at all.
