I like how you stop responding when I posted actual data that goes against your exaggerations and scare tactics.

What scare tactics? I’m not afraid of mumps or covid. They are both non lethal viruses to the majority of people
And yes, there are many factors to mumps coming back. Anti vaxxers and illegal
Immigrants being the main reasons

So if we put 200 vaccinated people in a room with a few Slope Sickness patients, we expect 100 of them to get infected? That doesn't make much of a case for getting the vaccine IMO
not only that, but we don't know the actual numbers because the CDC stopped tracking new Covid in the vaccinated (breakthrough) 3+ months ago.

And the CDC also admits even before that the breakthrough cases were *under*reported. Vaccine side effects always are. It's a passive system and the foxes (hyper-pro-vaccine Dr offices and hospitals) are the ones counting the hens.

CDC only tracking numbers in unvaccinated

People are too lazy to go beyond what the media, gov, and CDC sound pieces like Sanjay Gupta are feeding them.

This board and the PT cheered when Desantis mandates that no private company in Florida can require the covid vaccine

A mandate supporting FREEDOM should be cheered.

No, but they can probably get a relatively decent amount of that in two with the shear volume of resources at their disposal, along with the fact that they made the virus in a lab. They should have a leg up on development considering they made it.

Don't care, I still have issues with it. It's extremely hypocritical.

by punishing people technically under him, from forcing something upon other people? Whats hypocritical about that?

Having nothing to do with covid, but when I went to Tanzania I got 6 of those without thinking twice because they were between me and something I wanted to do.

He's a tyrant for trying to protect people's individual freedoms? What sort of logic is that?

He was wrong to do so regarding private businesses. Within his authority to stop schools from doing it ( excluding private schools obviously).

Dear Lord... You're coming of pretty petty in this thread.

I mean, its actually not supporting freedom right?

Its taking away the rights of private companies, which is pretty dictatorial and anti-American.

And I am a HUGE Desantis fan.

Understood. You seem to be in a small fraction of people that truly want little to no govt

You are pretty much a unicorn

Individual freedoms apply to government control over individuals.

He is has stripped private companies of their rights, thus taking away the individual freedom of private companies.

The government should NEVER mandate vaccines to citizens, or force companies to do so as a de facto mandate.

However, if a private company wants to do so, that is their right.

When JBE tells Private companies what they can and can’t do, it doesn’t seem like he gets much of a “it’s wrong, but let’s not call him a tyrant” pass

Private business is becoming mythical around here.

Take a look at the board of directors of major companies - they are often current leaders or former leaders of adjacent companies. And if you don't think that the government is leading and baiting companies into decisions, you're mistaken.

Bottom line - if companies are colluding on policies, and the government is incentivizing or pressuring those decisions, it results in a monopoly of policy and is NOT what people think of as "private business."

It's wrong and will be challenged which is the beauty of the checks and balance system. Well, unless you are Biden and ignore the SC moratorium opinion.

That being said, if you want Gov out of private businesses then take them all the way out and truly let the free market reign. We can't get mad when the Government is involved in all aspects of private businesses already. I am sure the cake baker in Colorado would agree.
