Lots of wiggle room in Phase 2. Hopefully after another week of positive numbers he'll ease up on bar restrictions.

Change it from no bars to bars close at 10 like some other states have done. That way neighborhood bars aren't shut down and you avoid the club scene.

People can bitch and moan about masks and occupancy/distancing but that's not going anywhere for a while.

I hope for the business owners that you are correct, but I'm not hopeful.

He’s not jumping ahead on his mandates

We aren’t in Phase 2, we are in Phase 1.75 & calling it Phase 2 so schools can open

Did he address why casinos are safe and bars are not?

Casinos pay cash to politicians to stay Covid free. Its the only known preventative.

Not that I've read. He doesn't have to answer the peoples questions.

I really think they should have just closed the college bars and left all the damn neighborhood and chill bars alone.

So to restaurant with bar, order drink, ask for empty plastic cup, pour drink in cup..

You have to wear a mask in public.....if your bar has a LDH license you can support them

Don’t cloud his tirades with requests for facts, or worse yet, question his Royal Highness. He’s only here to scold his subjects and tell them which businesses he’s decided to allow to avoid bankruptcy

This I would think is a good "cautious" step to take sooner rather than later. This gets us back to where all businesses can at least pull in SOMETHING, even if it's far from the intended business model.

When they opened the bars, the numbers spiked

No way they’re opening them back up anytime soon

He’s saying 50,000 active cases of Covid in Louisiana. That’s the number you get when you subtract the number of cases from the presumed recovered ~124,000 cases, ~74,000 presumed recovered. But presumed recovered hasn’t been updated since 7/27
