yes, people will catch the COVID. Is that a bad thing? No. Especially not young healthy people. Why?
The average age of COVID related deaths in the US is 80.
Under the age of 55, there have been ~11,000 deaths
Under the age of 35, there have been ~1,200 deaths
Under the age of 15, there have been 42 deaths
Under the age of 1, there have been 14 deaths.
We can’t hide inside until a vaccine comes. Some are still saying it could be mid 2021 at best. If you are old and/or fat and/or have pre-existing conditions - stay home. Everyone should go back to school.

The kids will have to leave school.
Many will go back home- where older people live- some with health concerns -
Does that make sense to you?
I’m going to paste my answer from page 8:
Holy shite this narrative needs to stop
Kids have needed to stay away from at risk folks this whole time
I’m 40 & I need to stay away from at risk folks
Don’t give me the line about kids getting it from other kids & grandma lives with them
You can’t tell me that those kids have stayed locked in their rooms this whole time
& their parents haven’t went to work or the grocery store or visited with anyone from out of their household

Of course he's confident. The judges overseeing all of the cases are in bed with him too, and will toe the line. JBE and all his former trial lawyer turned judges will make money off of those of whom lives they've already destroyed..

Yes to those symptoms including loss of smell or taste and body aches.

Louisiana will stay in Phase 2 until after the November election. Honor Choade is taking his marching orders from Nancy and Chuck.
Remember this all you idiots that voted for this putz. Hope his dictatorial actions haven’t put any of your family into financial ruin. Of course, those feeding on the government teat think he’s doing a great job.

Forget grandma.
What about the 55 year old Father with asthma or 60 year old mom with diabetes?
Just suck it up?

They should have taken better care of themselves.

Are you saying Mom, Dad, boy & girl have not left their house since March?
They haven’t been to work or shopping, haven’t been to pick up dinner, haven’t visited family, haven’t stopped & talked to the neighbors?
Because if those 4 people have cut off all contact with the general public & any chance of getting the virus then maybe those kids need to stay in their rooms & learn on a laptop
ETA
Or is everyone else supposed to give up on life, seeing their family & friends, lose their jobs & businesses because Sally’s dad has asmatha?

Sometimes you have to clean up the population

What about the 30-something single mother with two kids who lost their job?
What about the small business owner that takes a modest income that has had their business revenue slashed in half?
What about the breadwinner of a family that has seen reduced work hours or had to take a furlough?
We can go on all day with anecdotes. What will happen is the effect of His Royal Highness Prince John just fricking winging it because he's an inept leader will be far greater than this virus.

If I go and get surgery done and the doctor tells me two weeks light duty, does that mean everybody around me has to follow that same guidance? Hell no. They go on about their lives. I'm the one who needs to follow the doctor's advice. Either I do, or I pay for it. Same thing with your example. The doctor tells those at risk that they need to stay away from going out in public and keep socially distanced from everybody. They don't listen, they go out and catch this thing. Just because those types are the ones who are more susceptible at catching it doesn't mean that you and I need to be just as stringent as them.

The ones I know are doing that.
I’m talking about the risk they bear when their kids come back home from college with covid because they didn’t see it as a real ‘thing’.
