Yep. Legislature could end it next week if they wanted to.

I do not think that any politician in Louisiana is stupid enough to deliberately limit when people in Louisiana can buy alcohol as a retaliatory move. The people of Louisiana are stubborn enough and like their alcohol way too much to put up with that kind of stunt.

True but JBE's leadership to me smells just like a toxic Army company commander who loves to use the big green weenie when he doesn't get what he wants. Now civilians get to experience it.
He's not inspirational, motivational, charismatic, or an outside the box type thinker. He has one way: his way or the highway. Any slight to his authority is seen as the ultimate insult. So when these ridiculous rules were added it doesn't shock me in the least he would do this.
