I didn’t vote for the guy but I’ve come to appreciate his leadership on the ground. Sometimes a wartime General is needed.

He hasn't isolated NOLA yet, big failure.

What exactly has he done that makes you say this? Are we so used to incompetency out of our elected leaders in LA that not making a situation worse is considered doing an excellent job? Some might even say he has done a poor job by overreacting and enacting sweeping rules for the state that really only needed to be for NOLA.

Bro.

JBE is the same guy that has done nothing to get the Louisiana economy out of the shitter the last four years. In fact, he has doubled down on making it as terrible as possible like suing oil and gas, taxing the hell out of the private sector preventing economic growth and being the biggest whore possible for trial lawyers.

Louisiana has the worst economy in the south and the highest unemployment as well. And that's something JBE lied his arse off about to get reelected.

And the thing is that this Chinese virus is going to make things worse for the Louisiana economy regardless of how JBE does handling this crisis. The same economy he doesn't give a shite about.

Forgive me if I'm not celebrating JBE not acting like a mental midget and doing the bare minimum expected of his position.

He has done a good job as far as I can see.... He's kinda stuck though. If the national government says that's the way it is, his hands are tied.

I think he has been fine but going out and saying we might exceed the hospital capacity in 7 days is a bit much

If that approach doesn’t get enough Fed funding, he’ll probably claim the system is so overwhelmed that LSU football won’t be able to access the healthcare system.
