Dudes eyes are almost touching his ears. He really is an ugly arse dude with a terrible screen presence and poor speaking skills.
As for the speech he pretty much copied Obama's first ones after taking office verbatim. 'I inherited worst crisis in history', blamed his predecessor at every opportunity, unbelievable doom and gloom, maximum scare tactics, and sob stories.

I heard the same thing 7 years ago after Obama started fearmongering. Then again 4 years later because his plan would take time. His first act was to opt into obamacare, which is costing states 800 Mil to 1.5 Bil more than projected. After this year national funding goes bye bye for this program. If he has to tax his constituents more now, then what is he going to do to makeup for the deficit next year, which could be 2 to 3 times the size of the deficit for this year? Higher taxes, less jobs (due to oil price), no faith in TOPS, and lack of funding to state universities does not make La attractive to either current taxpayers or prospective taxpayers.
TL;DR version... He will not balance a budget by creating an environment where taxpayers ROI is declining (.)
