testing has been ticking down in 8 of the 9 (and in some cases dramatically) since ~7/14
the only 1 that's seen an any kind of increase in testing since that date is Shreveport/Bossier... which the tick up came after its own bit of fall off

So what's going to happen if we have a hurricane and testing centers shut down or people don't get tested?

It could very well be malice but how would we know without the data in a format we can do the calculations same as them?
That's my problem, they throw shite out there that nobody can verify. That's a problem.
In fact they throw stuff out there that appears to be worse than what we are able to calculate. I can't rule out malice based on current info, sorry.

There’s free drive thru testing in Abbeville today — I drove by on my way to somewhere and there were 2 National Guard people and a sheriffs car parked nearby — no one was testing.

Simply put. You are using bad data to assume LDH positivity rate is wrong.
The spreadsheet posted here daily should not be credited to the day it is posted on.
Why does LDH report it this way? Go look at the shite fit Georgia residents had when Georgia said they were withholding the data to filter out changes from backdating. We want data now, but fail to recognize that it is rae data.

Well you don't even know where to find the data, so yeah, I wouldn't expect you to have any concept of how to verify it.
All the data is there. If you want to verify it go to the LDH site. The spreadsheet from tigerdroppings just recently got the number of daily deaths right.

LDH seems to include #s of tests faster than results too.
Which makes the daily numbers seem lower than what they potentially are.
For example, March 1 through July 22 there were 113,156 tests in Orleans Parish per the LDH. Through the same dates there were 100,352 negative and 12,642 positive which only comes out to 112,994.

Disregard everything you know becaude you are using the tigerdroppings spreadsheet. I know this is tough because that is really your only source of data you have been following.
LDH does not daily report tests reflecting the last 24 hours. They report the data collected over the last 24 hours. For instance, 35 people died from covid yesterday, right now they only know of 6. However, they had 45 deaths reported over the last 10 days.
It will take 7-10 days for this data to normalize. The state is making calls off of data 7-10 days old because that is the normalized data.
Meanwhile, people on this site are using the daily numbers as if they represent the actual 24 hour changes. They neglect that testing delays have moved from 5 days to almost 14 days in the last month.
This doesn't mean that numbers aren't dropping or rising. It just means that data is delayed in showing those trends.

And I'm not sure how some of that reflects multiple tests.
