Not really. Lots of good info in this thread about how LDH is handling the backlog data.

Whatever your stance on closures or whatever, I just wish people would stop complaining about "arbitrary" guidelines or rules. Sure they're arbitrary, basically every single rule or guideline in medicine or law was arbitrarily decided at some point in time, but we accept them. Arbitrary does not equal bad or wrong.

Agreed... I think the issue is that it seems to take anywhere from 7-14 days to reconcile daily test data and JBE might have made some of these decisions on data(numbers) before that reconciliation occurred.

It does. That is also why projecting phases out 10-14 days is harder to do and why they are putting so much emphasis on leading indicators.

Totally agree. Instant test results are the only way to alleviate that.. still then it would be hard.

How are hospitals still in danger with fewer people in them from Covid now than was before, they are now more spread out, and the number in hospitals are dropping for the week?
