What would the benefit be of wearing a mask if you're just standing outside by yourself?

What is the benefit of wearing a mask inside your call all by yourself?

With the current state of things, where does logic fit into ANY OF IT?

People aren't being mandated to wear a mask in their car or outside here in Houston. Just trying to point out how things are working here and how they will likely work in Louisiana. It's not a big deal to put on a mask to enter a store then take it off as soon as you exit the store.

Owlie only has one working arm and he managed it fine on Tuesday.

It's about control, and that gubment money. If it looks like things are going good, less money for the dems to launder away.

just go mow grass and do odd jobs to pay my bills. World doesn't work like that anymore. Especially when just my health insurance is $600 a month.

You have to start somewhere. Sitting on your arse in the a/c and complaining on websites won't pay a penny toward that $600.

Do something productive and at least pay part of your way in life while this is happening.

definitely don't believe they are magical like some would have you believe. The 6' rule is far more important.

Logically any barrier is going to help some.

Washing hands and not touching your face are far and away the most important things you can do to stay safe and stop the spread but you don't hear that. You hear about masks.

Masks make people touch their face even more than usual. So the masks actually cause you to engage in high risk behavior.

In a lab, sure you could show a mask reduces the spray of a cough or sneeze but that is in no way a reflection of what is happening in the real world.

Masks are possibly preventing some spread but they are also causing some because people are not wearing properly, handling properly or sanitizing properly.

I see a high volume of people every single day and I see the mask world. I'm 100% certain they are a net negative.

We don't need signs demanding people wear masks. Stores and businesses should have hand washing stations available upon entry. This would be much more helpful.

For politicians it's all about masks masks masks because it's visual. It's dumb.

They can
& if they do so publicly JBE can cut any state funding they get

Everything goes back to money & politics, everything

Like I said earlier, states shutting down again will force fed unemployment to extend
That means continued protests & continued chaos

Will be interesting to see how Josh Guillory and Mark Garber handle things in Lafayette Parish. The sheep are at the door begging Josh to implement a Mask Mandate, and he won't do it. If it's done for him, will he and Garber actually enforce it?

Lets hope those 2 clowns dont enforce it

I know one who has been pushing this issue more than anyone else ... even called into a q/a session on a radio show and gave a different name to the host (Jamie Angelle) -- I totally recognized her voice and she has badgered them from day 1 ... she totally didn't want them to know who she was.

Name that person now.....

Never said anything about politics. Just said you are being naive thinking a mandatory mask mandate will lead to this ending sooner. Evidence has shown that government is not interested in ending this and opening the economy. If they were then we would accept the common sense that the virus is mostly a harmless cold for healthy people and only a large threat to the elderly and high risk types. So let them choose to lock themselves down and not all of us.

Republican Party lines = Democrat party lines

So no I don't.
