how much power can be put down with modern traction control systems.
Really can’t wait to see what the aftermarket tuners or new computers will do with them. The oem systems are usually pretty conservative.

The Z06 is sexy af and an absolute blast to drive. The sound is amazing. The pops and gurgles… and the quick rev on a downshift make me giggle like a little kid every time.
I can’t even imagine the ZR1 with another 300+ horses.

I love the Corvette E-Ray. But a Z06 or ZR1 with that flat plane V8 sound......holy smokes. That's pure sex on wheels.
I saw my first ZR1 drive by on Friday in Baton Rouge.
I have the video-mentioned "base model" Stingray at 495 HP, and I drive it like a granny because it's intimidating to me as someone who has only ever had quite boring vehicles like my daily Honda CR-V.
I have a brick wall flower bed type deal behind my garage and probably do a 4 point turn every time I take the car out because one heavy press to the gas and I feel like I'd be in the bricks.

I love that she can see over the dash.
I have a 5-inch adult booster seat I got from Amazon or else I couldn't buy the car. Granted, as you know, I'm 4'10". I can't see over Mustang dashboards either, but that might be different with new models and improved seat moving tech.

I think HP Tuners cracked the tuning code.

I’ll ask them this weekend at TX2K. The event owner just got a ZR1X so I’m sure he’ll be high on the list to get it done. He mentioned he thinks he can get an 8.8 out of it.

I can't get 660hp of the line aggressively without losing traction.
What tires are you running?

It's crazy isn't it.

Go by Garrett Mitchell's setup (Cleetus McFarland) and mention it. That's who's car he did it on.

8.806 @ 159. Wow
We usually put right behind him I’ll ask him after hours when the crowds leave. It’s a shite show by hit place during the event.

I suspect this may be familiar to you... In dig racing and hard launches, the r888r has max stick and is a less hard compound which provides straight-line acceleration. If your car is a daily driver, or you drive in the rain, then the 4s is the way to go - best 'street' tire overall.
I'm running 325/30R20 on the rear and 295/30R19's on the front with Toyo's in all four corners. Sticky

Just saw they got an 8.7 out of it today off the trailer during TX2K testing. I don’t know if it was Peter driving or not. Probably Brooks driving.
