He lost me when he tried to equate some black people’s love of R Kelly despite him being a pedophile with some white people’s support of Trump. I’m pretty neutral on Trump but this reminds me of a child’s argument of “ I did something bad, but John Doe did way worse “.

Hard to point the finger at the situation when seemingly everyone knew about this and did nothing to stop it
They showed an interview on MTV in the 90s where the TV show host ask R Kelly and a 15 year old Aaliyah if they are dating, and they just got “hahaha i mean maybe ;)))” basically and they hosts were like “oh that’s chill, this seems like a healthy relation ship”
And that was almost a decade before he was busted pissing on a minor with heavy physical evidence that was somehow found not guilty after a 2 week trial.

Pretty sure it was just a few individuals in BR that saw an opportunity to get on stage with R Kelly so they took it. I'm willing to bet not people are presented with keys to city which makes giving one to Kelly while stopping by on tour even more strange

Sometimes when I can't go to sleep right away I will turn on the TV and some nights I might be up 2 hrs watching bullshite on TV.. The other night that "Surviving R Kelly" show was on.
He was/is a phediphile. A predator and just a strange dude. They interviewed his brothers (not sure how many he has, but two were interviewed. One was in jail for sure, I can't remember if the other was in jail.. Or was in jail. They must all have issues. R. Kelly is/was talented, he could sing... Produce.. Man the Boondocks did this over 10 years ago.... see the Robert Kelly Trial episode. Maybe the best episode of that show.
