None as long as Bourbon Street or on the scale of the Quarter though.

Was Jabaar his name his whole life or did he have a name change conversion?

Just curious as media trying to sell it as a very late and recent Islamic conversion.

You can eat at the bar. People are saying she was there for lunch.

If you think that the optics of sitting at any bar meer hours after this type of incident are good for the city mayor then you are beyond repair.

Well if she drinks every day we don't want her going through withdrawls right now

Playing catch up after camping, but help me understand how a 3:15am attack makes any sense if one were seeking maximum impact? Seems like there is much more to learn.

Crystal ball - as the crowd cleared security eased back.

When I drive by earlier in the evening they even had the swat “tank” at that intersection

I’m guessing maybe he did a few laps throughout the evening finding a chance

I'm not saying you are criticizing her but-- is anything wrong with the mayor going to eat lunch and have drinks at the bar on New Year's Day? I realize a big investigation and law enforcement job has to be done right now, but it's not really the role of the mayor to be directly involved. The politicians aren't dusting for prints or interviewing witnesses.

We arguably hear too much in these crises from mayors, governors, senators, dogcatchers and city council people. They stand up on podiums and tell us nothing, but all wear Indiana Jones-style jackets and try to look concerned.

I10 construction from Beaumont to Louisiana made him run late.

There’s so much conflicting info out there. I have seen reports that say his truck was seen leaving Beaumont earlier in the day, last scanned at Baytown, heading I 10 east. But then I have also seen reports that have said that that truck was parked at the Air BNB for the past two weeks.

One question I have is what’s the deal with the 3 to 4 bombs that were place around the French Quarter by the 3-4 accomplices. The remote for detonating these bombs was supposedly in his truck. He had to know when he pealed down Bourbon, it was a suicide drive and he was going to die. So, why didn’t he detonate the bombs before he turned? And if there were others assisting, why didn’t they have the remote?

It's a restaurant you Puritan.

Everyone eats at the bar in this city. You'll be shocked to know people eat at the bar and don't drink.

There's a pic in here going back to when he was in the Army and that was his name, so I believe that has been his name his whole life.
