I've met him a few times and based on those occasions, I'd say definitely "no". The guy really seems to enjoy his job.

Huge Van Halen fan. The most normal guy on local TV ( Grimes comes in a close second). Both great guys.

I have spoken with Jacques several times in both private and public settings and I have never thought he acted like a douche.
