It seems weird to me that they'd block a specific Tex-Mex chain (Izzos) from Juban Crossing, but not Moe's.
Moe's and Izzo's have a VERY similar setup. They are definitely direct competitors.

God dammit boy. That's just half of it.
It was a calculated plan to not just block Izzos from sharing shopping centers with them but to also sell identical burritos from their in-store deli.

I agree.
I knew Rouses was an inferior store, but this basically makes them scumbags as well.

Exactly. People are acting like it's a recipe like:
Fill tortilla
Roll tortilla
Jim Gaffigan's bit on Mexican Food:
Patron: What's on a burrito?
Jim: A flour tortilla with Meat, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions and Salsa
Patron: What's in fajitas?
Jim: A flour tortilla with Meat, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions and Salsa
Patron: What's a tostada?
Jim: A flour tortilla with Meat, Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions and Salsa
Or something like that.

Meh, they are just trying to up their market value to sell out to Publix soon.

Hey, stealing the recipe book and selling nearly identical items seemed to work for McDowells.

Clearly I understand why it’s an issue to blackball them from shopping centers but stealing a burrito recipie is hilarious to me. It’s like stealing an omelet recipie
More to it than that.

Why would you even need to steal a recipe? shite ain't hard at all to make seasoned meats, Jesus Christ use the damn container of taco seasoning and you're already better than izzos.
What else you need? Lettuce? Corn? Onion? Mushrooms? Pico? Sour cream? Cheese? Tortilla from a wholesaler? Surely ain't the guacamole because theirs is horrible. Queso isn't hard to get in a bag either.
Totally stupid if you can't figure that nonsense out.

I always thought Izzos was mediocre, especially for the price. They should've went after Felipe's carnitas recipe.

Trying to keep Izzos out of certain shopping centers is most definitely illegal and most definitely serious shite.
Not even close, I have no dog in this figh but it is 100% not illegal.

Felipe is good...but no sauteed onions or mushrooms...they just closed the one in Slidell.

Overall Felipe's is mediocre. But their carnitas is some of the best I've ever had anywhere.

Izzos is so much better than Chipotle or Moe's.
And Chipotle passes for Mexican food in Pennsylvania.
