They’ll probably have more deaths in suicides than the actual virus itself

There will be a few family wipe outs. I can't believe we’ve made it a week without at least one.

We will be back to some kind of new normal in 30 days. Might not be 100%, but headed that direction. Best of luck.

Could prove fun.

Go back and bump threads to see how far off we were.

I know I underestimated duration and devastation.

Yeah well that's what happens when goalposts are moved.

Not that bad of a guess. Training sessions have kicked back off to start playing games later in the summer for the nba. MLB is more of a contract dispute versus unable to safely resume.

Another month or so I'd think? Kind of looking at China and other places although we can't really believe anything they've reported.

Way longer, we are too dependent on China, if they have a second wave and they likely will, we will be in deep doo-doo. Either way, the riots will cause us to have one. This will be way longer than two months. We just won't feel the effects until the unemployment runs out, and the small biz loans do too. August will be a month to watch. That's when it gets real, if a hurricane or the riots do not make it happen sooner.

Right there with ya.

I think what was underestimated was the willingness of the government to sacrifice jobs and return to normalcy in response to predictable second wave.

Sorry to hear that, but normal is not returning anytime soon. Covid, BLM and state governments are not allowing that in 2020.
